"Flights and abysses of love"
Sylvia Khittl-Muhr interpretates songs by Johannes Brahms, Richard Wagner, Robert Fuchs, Max Reger, Richard Strauss, Robert Schumann, Cole Porter and Franz Léhar. The recital is embedded in a reading, in which extracts from literary classics are confronted with contemporary works. The texts, all dealing with love and passion, are from Georg Büchner, Rainer Maria Rilke, Edith Södergran, Francisca Stöcklin, Pablo Neruda, Sándor Marái, Erich Fried, Catherine Millet, Annie Ernaux, Milan Kundera und James Joyce.
